My check engine light had been on for a couple of months.
Usually it’s something small and trivial, so I try and ignore it.
The “beep” that I have to hear every time I start driving
always eventually gets to me.
This time, it seems, the problems were a bit larger.
I picked up my car yesterday and paid a little over 2000 bucks.
No, that is not a typo.
Yes, that money had been saved to buy a scooter and a new mattress.
Yes, it really bothered me, but it was cheaper than getting a new car.
“Well…hopefully this fix will last me until the car falls completely apart,”
I say to myself as I’m driving home.
Then my window pops and slides down into the door.
