We Own The Night

It took me a few nights to finally get through this. The beginning seemed a bit slow, buy probably just because I kept falling asleep. After about 45 minutes or so, it really picked up and got good. Great acting. Great story. Definitely one to check out.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage)

I really had no idea what to expect with this one. I’d just heard of it, but not really anything about it. It was a good movie. Not great, but good. It’s sometimes hard to follow everything when you’re reading subtitles and trying to watch the action all at the same time. I think it would’ve been a bit better had I been able to pay closer attention to what was going on visually. Still a very original and interesting story.
