I finally made it out to Best Buy last night to buy the new
Death Cab for Cutie
album.

Although this review may be a bit premature, as I’m only halfway through the album at the moment, I have to say that I’m very pleased with what I’ve heard so far.

There are a lot of staple sounds on the album that make the band who they are, but this album is still unlike any other. I’d say it’s a mix between Plans and Transatlanticism, leaning more towards the latter.

Again, I haven’t finished, so I may love it even more as I reach the end…
Or it may let me down. But I doubt it.

Either way, if you like Death Cab at all, especially their last few albums, you’ll like this one.
