My friend Candice made this using conversations she heard 4-year-olds having. Sorry it’s framed weird.

“That was oddly specific. And a bit hurtful.”

This is so awesome.

Thanks for making Alabama look even more awesome to the rest of the country.

This video combines two things I really don’t enjoy: Scott Stapp and baseball.

Maybe the worst song I’ve ever heard in my whole life…

Does he know Marlins aren’t birds?

Thanks, Jason!

Oh brother.

I want to do this (4:10):

We may try a small batch at the MZLs tomorrow night.

Then I want to make some in our kiddie pool and walk on it.

The end.

Green Zone

While I can’t say this movie was a waste of time, it just wasn’t all that satisfying. I think Sheena put it best: “It was on the verge of being a good movie…but it wasnt.” The plot was good, and the acting was good, but it just seems way too convoluted. And not really in a confusing way, just in a “not sure why there is so much going on” way. It could’ve been simplified and the story would’ve been just as good, but more watchable. Of course, Greengrass used his signature hand-held camera method, so during the running/chasing scenes you kinda want to puke. All-in-all, just a mediocre time at the movies. Worth a dollar, but not much more.

I’m not going to buy an iPad or anything, but this is just plain awesome.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans

This is the strangest movie I have seen in a long, long time. And I have to admit that I really enjoyed myself. Not a lot of this movie makes much sense, but it sure is entertaining and quite funny, in a very, very dark way. Nicholas Cage is about as good as he’s ever been. Nick and I have a weird relationship. I’ve always felt like I don’t like him, but I almost always really like the movies he’s in. So maybe I do like Cage, but his characters are just unlikeable? Which means he’s actually convincing? I dunno. But I do know I like him in this movie, even though his character is a horrible person. I really wouldn’t recommend this to most people, because it’s just too weird, and I don’t think many people would enjoy it, but I sure did.
