Youth in Revolt

This movie was just kinda okay. I thought Michael Cera did a good job at playing his usual character, and then a different version of his usual character. I liked that Zach Galifianakis, Steve Buscemi and Fred Willard were involved. They’re always great. I don’t really remember laughing any, though. And that’s not good for a comedy. It wasn’t really boring or bad, it just wasn’t anything special. Take it or leave it.

Running Wilde is a new show by Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz, and stars AD alum Will Arnett. Sounds promising:

Alice in Wonderland

I was really excited about this movie. I really like Tim Burton‘s stuff. Well, I used to. His version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a disappointment, and this wasn’t as bad, but it wasn’t as great as it could’ve been. There just wasn’t anything special about it at all. The visuals were pretty cool, and all the characters were well done and fun, but the plot and dialogue were just kinda meh. And I’m getting a little tired of Johnny Depp as Tim Burton’s weirdo. I’m sure I’m probably the only one. It’s not a waste a time, but it was a bit of a letdown. Give me back early 90’s Tim Burton.

I’ve seen this video in a few different places in the last couple of days, so I finally took a minute or so and checked it out. It’s hilarious. I did a little searching and found another appearance by K-Strass, and it’s even better. So, if you’ve got a few minutes, check these out:
